Liberal Judaism is the dynamic, cutting edge of modern Judaism. The movement believes in the equality of each individual, regardless of race, gender or sexuality. Liberal Judaism applies this belief in practice, with support for mixed-faith and same-gender relationships and full equality between men and women.

SRX Consultancy has handled external and internal communications for Liberal Judaism since 2011, and produces its award-winning bi-monthly newsletter LJ Today.

During our time representing Liberal Judaism, the movement has enjoyed a profile far in excess of its size, with coverage from faith, regional and national media including The Guardian/Observer, Independent, Daily Mirror, Sky, Huffington Post and across BBC platforms. SRX Consultancy is proud to have been part of successful Liberal Judaism campaigns fighting for same-sex marriage, refugees and the Living Wage.

Mitzvah Day is the UK’s biggest faith-based day of social action. Taking place every November, the day of good deeds sees 40,000 volunteers all around the world giving their time, not their money, to help others. Jews, Muslims, Christians, Hindus and people of all faiths, and none, take part in more than 1,200 projects to support the elderly, homeless, refugees and some of the poorest and most vulnerable in society.

SRX Consultancy has worked with Mitzvah Day since 2015, responsible for all communications strategy and execution. During that time Mitzvah Day has featured on the BBC’s Songs of Praise, BBC News, ITV News, Al Jazeera, in the Guardian, Times and Independent and on the front pages of popular faith newspapers including the Jewish Chronicle and Jewish News. It has also been covered by local outlets in all parts of the UK, as well as media in America, Israel, Germany, France, Poland and even Australia.

Fight Network UK is the UK and Ireland’s only TV channel dedicated to wrestling, MMA, boxing and all combat sport. It takes over Showcase TV on Sky, Freesat and TVPlayer.com from 9pm every night.

SRX Consultancy has represented Fight Network UK since its launch in 2018, handling all social media consultation, strategy, implementation, review and analysis, as well as PR opportunities and press conferences.

With a social media and marketing focus on gaining viewers – via promoting and interacting with the brands, shows and talent that air on the channel – ratings have been steadily rising.

SRX Consultancy specialises in one-off campaigns around film and music releases, especially those with strong personal stories behind them, often working alongside our colleagues at Bootstrapped PR.

We represent both the Orthodox Jewish gangster rapper Nissim and the jazz performer Pepi Lemer, who was the Spice Girls vocal coach. We helped create a buzz around their most recent albums and helped them tell their amazing life stories, receiving coverage in multiple media outlets including the BBC, The Guardian, Huffington Post, AOL and ITV’s London Tonight.

We also ran a PR campaign for Powder’s Peckham – the first ever movie funded by a crypto currency – receiving coverage in the Daily Star and Flavour Magazine and on London Tonight and London Live, as well as helping organise the film premiere.

Jewish Blind & Disabled is the only Jewish charity dedicated to providing a life of independence, dignity and choice for any adult, from the age of 18 upwards, who is physically disabled or vision impaired. The charity enables this independent lifestyle via the provision of state-of-the-art mobility apartments, with 24/7 on site support.

Working with Jewish Blind & Disabled since 2016, we have helped the charity greatly enhance its social media presence – including doubling its number of Facebook followers and quadrupling its engagement rate on Twitter.

Through PR, we have reached out to potential tenants, supporters and donors with regular articles in relevant faith and local media.

British Boot Camp was a reality television series looking to find the next British wrestling superstar, which ran for two series on Challenge TV from 2013-2015 and helped bring stars including Rockstar Spud, Grado, The Blossom Twins, Marty Scurll and Mark Andrews to prominence.

We were a key part of all aspects of the show – from helping source talent and locations to coming up with script ideas and scenarios through to even appearing on air.

British Boot Camp was described as a “ratings and critical hit” and trended on social media every week it was on air. The PR campaign we ran saw coverage across the mainstream media, including The Alan Titchmarsh Show, BBC Newsbeat, The Sun, Daily Mirror and Cosmopolitan.

Nisa-Nashim is the Jewish Muslim Women’s Network, which brings the two faith communities in Britain closer together by setting up groups of women who build personal friendships, grow as leaders and benefit wider society through programmes and initiatives.

SRX Consultancy helps the charity promote its annual conference – a full day event featuring inspiring speakers, workshops and music – as well as assisting on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year.

Press coverage secured for Nisa-Nashim includes the BBC filming all day at the conference for the BBC News TV channel and website, as well articles in The Times and Huffington Post and appearances on BBC Radio 4, BBC Asian Network, Talk Radio, BBC Radio London and more than a dozen other local radio stations. A key focus is also the Jewish and Muslim press, securing stories in each to show the benefits of the faiths working together.
